My name is Gretchen Glass, I am a  licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT). I am licensed in the state of WA and MA, I primarily work with clients in Seattle and Boston. My background is in psychology and women's and gender studies.

My passion is working with families, individuals and children. As a therapist and a busy professional I realize that your time is precious. I am here to empower you to do great things and provide you with coping skills to make life easier. My hope is that we can create a plan that works for your life and schedule. I am a solution focused therapist. I want to provide you with a realistic set of skills that you can use when life gets challenging.

I have extensive experience working with people who have PTSD, anxiety and depression. I have many years of experience working with children that have special needs and more specifically those with Autism and sensory issues. I am passionate about working with women, children and couples.

My practice is unique in the sense that I have been an in home family therapist for the past 6 years. This experience has taught me that  in office therapy must be realistic and it must provide clients with simple small changes that can make a difference.

My Mission

There may be people to help us along the way but the lesson to be learned is truly ours
— Anis Nin

I want to help you get you to where you would like to be. For a sensory kid that might be learning to try a new food or make a new friend. For a couple it might look like implementing a 15 second kiss at the end of each day. For an individual it might look like increasing self esteem with motivational interviewing. Therapy is for you and my hope is that we can make some changes that help you along the way for the better.
